Inclusion
Omar Asghar Khan Foundation catalyses learning, convening, connecting and actions to create drivers of social inclusion especially among the youth. With dialogue, training, and information, diverse change-makers are becoming partners and problem-solvers in community, political and governance processes. They celebrate diversity. They reject discrimination based on intersecting identities like gender, sexuality, poverty, location, faith or ability. They counter misinformation, hate speech, and technological-facilitated violence including cyber-stalking, cyber-bullying and deepfake abuse. They increase the safe participation of equity-deserving groups (including women, children, non-Muslim religious minorities, persons living with disabilities and transgender persons) in family, community and governance decisions. They aid women and other marginalized groups to obtain essential documents like the NIC to access education, employment and other opportunities, and register as voters to participate in electoral and political processes.
