Celebrated human rights defender with over 40 years’ experience in leading actions to protect the rights of women and other vulnerable groups. Holds senior executive positions in well-known national human rights and women’s rights organizations.
Dr. Maryam Bibi
Acclaimed women’s rights activist with over 30 years’ experience of working with rural communities to improve the education, health, and economic well-being of women and children. In recognition of her tireless efforts, she has received numerous awards including the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence), a National Presidential Award (2001).

Committed women’s rights activist, academic, community health expert and trainer. Over 30 years’ experience in supporting participatory learning and actions for social transformation. Has developed curricula on community health science and served as senior faculty member of respected universities.
