#OmarAsgharKhanFoundation as the Provincial Lead for #AawazII in KP arranged a meeting of the visiting 15-member delegation from Aawaz II’s Provincial Forum in Punjab with senior representatives of KP’s Auqaf, Hajj, Religious & Minority Affairs Department. Mr. Wazeer Zada, Focal Person to KP Chief Minister on Minority Affairs provided details of key government investments including increased budgets for promoting interfaith harmony in KP. Funds for worship/funeral places, community exchanges, education scholarships and enterprise support have also been allocated in FY2025-26 to support social inclusion of non-Muslim religious minorities. Secretary, Mr. Inayat Ullah Khan, commended the efforts of #AawazII in KP in engaging diverse religious minority groups.

The Punjab delegation appreciated the opportunity to learn from experiences in KP to safeguard the rights of religious minorities through affirmative measures.
