#AawazII community volunteers and rights’ defenders from 15 districts of Punjab and KP met with government officials to discuss uptake of good practices demonstrated by the project in engaging people to prevent gender-based violence and promote child protection and social inclusion. Ms. Fauzia Viqar, Federal Ombudsperdon on Harrassment against Women, Dr. Sumera Shams, Chair of the KP Commission on the Status of Women, Mr. Akhtar Abbas, Addition IG Police-KP, Ms. Amina Munir, Additional Secretary, Punjab Social Welfare Department participated in the event.
