Foundation Hosts TV Show   “Live with Talat”

On 6 December 2007, the   Foundation in collaboration with the District/High Court Bar Associations in   Abbottabad, the Abbottabad Press Club and AAJ TV hosted the popular TV show:   Live with Talat. More than 1,000 lawyers, media persons, and activists   participated in the programme.


Protests against Emergency   in Pakistan

Lawyers, media and   activists marched through the streets of Abbottabad on 6 December 2007   protesting against the emergency. They demanded the reinstatement of judges   who refused to take an oath under the PCO; lifting of all curbs on the media;   and boycott of elections under present circumstances.


More than 200 activists of   the Hazara Awami Ittehad met in Abbottabad on 5-6 December to analyse the   events of 3 November and its implications on people's lives.

Launching of Publication: Living on the Faultline

Omar Asghar Khan Development Foundation launched its     publication: Living on the Faultline at a press conference held in     Islamabad on 11 October 2007.  The publication presents     findings of a study conducted by the Foundation and Dr. Kaiser Bengali on     the allocation of rehabilitation funds in District Abbottabad.
